Led
Zeppelin Live! Starring
Heartbreaker
>> Saturday, May 17th
Heartbreaker is, without a doubt, the
world’s most authentic Led
Zeppelin tribute band. It takes a lot of confidence to make such
a
claim, but Heartbreaker lives up to it. In musicianship, sound
replication, costume and stage presence, Heartbreaker is the closest to
the real Led Zeppelin yet. From Zeppelin’s 1969 debut album with the
smash Good Times Bad Times, through the 1979 album In Through the Out
Door, Heartbreaker’s performance captures it all flawlessly. Led
Zeppelin may be gone, but Heartbreaker can take you back to the Zep
concert you missed! It's all here in thundering stereo sound. John
Boham's drum solo, the world's best Robert Plant impersonation, the bow
solo, keyboards, mandolin, note for note guitar solos, costumes and
props!

Antsy
McClain and the Trailer Park Troubadours
>> Friday, June 6th and Saturday, June 7th
Antsy McClain is a
songwriter, story-teller and entertainer who sings
about life in an American trailer park. His band, The Trailer
Park
Troubadours, is a skilled assortment of musicians who play in the
rootsy, rock and roll tradition of their hard-working, blue collar
forefathers. The Troubs, as they are called by fans, are
committed to taking their unique blend of music around the globe,
showing up where ever they're invited - and then some. Their live
shows are critically-acclaimed as masterful mixes of musicianship and
self-deprecating humor for all ages. "With musical influences
ranging from Woodie Guthrie to Waylon Jennings to Van Halen to Cake,
one can't help but be intrigued by their lively, colorful songs of life
in America's most forgotten neighborhood - the trailer park. With
song
titles like 'It Ain't Home 'Til You Take the Wheels Off,' and 'She Took
the Mobile Outta Mobile Home,' the band will sing about the pleasures
and heartaches of American trailer park life." -The Desert
Advocate, Phoenix, AZ

Songs and stories by Rosalie
Sorrels. Cowboy Poetry by Wendy Brown-Barry, Mick Vernon, and
John Silveira.
Rosalie Sorrels is
considered a matriarch of American folk music. She
began her public career as a singer and collector of traditional
folksongs in the late 1950s. During the early 1960s she left her
husband and began traveling and performing at music festivals and clubs
throughout the United States. Nanci Griffith chronicled this
aspect of
Rosalie's life with her song "Ford Econoline."
Currently
"retired,"
she still performs in select concerts and festivals. Her career
of
social activism, storytelling, teaching, learning, songwriting,
collecting folk songs, performing, and recording has spanned six
decades. Wendy Brown-Barry has
lived in the foothills of
the Sierra Nevada in the Gold Rush-era town of Mariposa, CA since
1971. Her works have been
published in newspapers and magazines, and
she has helped organize the Cannonball Cowboy Poetry Gathering in
Mariposa, CA since 1999. Mick
Vernon pens poems about his time
spent in the saddle working cattle with the Dobbas outfit in the
Sierras near Auburn, CA, and about other reflections of western
life.
He is the author of "The Lyrical Lawman Rides," a book of original
cowboy poetry (and CD by the same title). John Silveira lives in Hilmar, CA
with his wife and family. He has been writing cowboy poetry for
several years. He says, "I was told it was good for the soul, and
found that to be true."

Molly's
Revenge
>> Saturday, June 28th
Born of the timeless
tradition of the all-night music session, Molly's
Revenge is a dynamic, acoustic Celtic band known for its unique
and
infectious on-stage enthusiasm. The classic combination of
bagpipes,
whistle, fiddle, and song -- set against a backdrop of guitar,
bouzouki, and mandola accompaniment -- guarantee an enjoyable
experience for all fans of Scottish and Irish music. They have
performed at many of the top folk festivals and performing
arts events in the USA, and prestigious events in Australia and China.
Their arrangements of traditional Celtic jigs and reels bring these
dance tunes up to date with a driving, hard-edged accent that always
leaves audiences shouting for more. Their seventh full-length
recording was produced by John Doyle, a founding member of Irish
supergroup Solas. Release
is set for early 2008, it's expected to be available for purchase at
this show.
